Steel Wall Hangings
A rusty patina is applied to all the steel pieces and allowed to age and develop it's own character. This sun face measures 40 inches in diameter.
Closeup
Each face is drawn directly onto the raw steel and then handcut with a plasma torch.
Medium Folded Sun
This medium sun, (29 inches in diameter), makes a dramatic statement as the 3 dimensional rays appear to blow in the wind. The steel on this piece has been lightly oiled after the patina developed to retain the colors.
Rusty Moon
The moon wall hanging is approximately 28 inches high. It makes an excellent companion piece to one of the sun hangings.
